Construction of 3 storey 1600m2 dwelling comprising of 21no. Eco-Friendly 2006 Homes, 3 person, 2 bedroom self contained apartments for the elderly. Included in these works for the demolition are 3 no. existing 2 storey buildings. The demolition works included the removal and disposal of some low grade asbestos. The dwelling is of traditional build construction with combination of brickwork and Weber render externally. The roof is a combination of trusses and Redland Tiles, zinc cladding to dormer windows and trocal to flat roof garden area. Internal construction is concrete block with precast floors and stairs and lightweight blocks to the internal walls of each apartment. All external windows and doors including entry doors to the apartments are to ‘secure by design’ standards. Externally there are 40no. car parking spaces to be constructed with high specification fencing, gates and landscaping to be constructed.
