Construction of 79 No Dwellings situated in the main residential area of Cavan town. The site development works consisted of the removal and recycling of 10 acres of pine forest and the cut and fill of 40,000 cubic metres of clay. The fill areas we used lime stabilisation reducing the volume of hard core to be brought onto site and excavated material of. The dwellings were a mixture of 3 and 4 bed semi-detached houses and 4 bed detached houses. External finishes were clay brick and weber plaster and UPVC windows with a mini stone wall concrete roof tile. The general construction of the houses were timber frame. All external windows and doors were secure by design.
