Tubbercurry Fire Station

The employer Sligo County Council with architect HYLE Sligo, awarded McGurran Construction this €750,000 project over 20 week programme. This project entailed construction of 343 square metre 2 bay fire station which included; watch room, foyer, male locker room, drying room, male toilets/shower, B.A. Room/Workshop, Appliance Bay, Switch Room, Store/Work Room, Landing, First Floor Toilet, Shower Room, Kitchen and Lecture Room. McGurran Construction carried out external works which included Drill Tower training yard and four storey tower and site works. The works include site development, construction of services and all ancillary works associated with the development, combination of steel frame and block built structure with either rendered finish to block work walls or insulated cladding panels.
